Oil spill and partial bridge collapse happen after a barge collides at Texas port

The high tide and difficult current caused a tugboat operator to lose control of two barges. A barge slammed into a bridge pillar in Galveston, Texas, on Wednesday, spilling oil into waters near busy shipping channels and closing the only road to a small neighboring island.
